My name is Karen and I am looking forward to meeting you in yoga soon!

My working life in the past has comprised of using my skills as a soft tissue therapist and knowledge of, and interest in, anatomy, to help people restore and then maintain improved posture and to release ongoing physical discomfort.

Anatomy, posture and movement is something which has always fascinated me, and this, combined with my love and practice of yoga over the past 15 years, has lead me to embark upon a career as a yoga teacher. I completed my 500 hr training with BWY and Emma of Yoga Wise in November 2020, and have been teaching since September 2019.

The Restore Yoga community has grown over the years and I am grateful to have the opportunity to share my love of this wonderful way of life!

I welcome anyone who is interested in including yoga in their daily lives. Options with regards to postures and exercises are always offered throughout the class, making classes completely inclusive to all who attend.

The thread of each class is woven into how we live daily, aiming to open us up to exploring possibilities other than those we feel constantly bound to. By introducing alignment, breath and flow, we encourage strength, stability and flexibility in both our physical and meditative practice.

If you have never tried yoga before, I invite you to come along and give it a go!

If yoga is something you have thought about but never got around to committing to, maybe now is the right time?

If you have practiced in the past, be it recent or distant, how about re-connecting?

I welcome you all
